Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic said Jalen Brunson deserved the ball in the fourth quarter Wednesday when he scored 14 of his 16 points in the quarter.
Luca Doncic was again on Thursday night.
This time it was leading the Dallas Mavericks to 122-111 of the
Detroit Pistons in Mexico City.
Donsick recorded his seventh triple-double on the road,
surpassing Magic Johnson and LeBron James in NBA history before turning 22.
And, um, Donsik is only 20. He is not 21 years old until 28
February. Leave that sink. This is his eighth triple-double this season. He
played "MVP!" In Mexico City.
He tallied his string of games with at least 20 points, five
rebounds and five assists for 20 games, the third-longest stretch in league
history. Only Oscar Robertson has such stripes. He had streaks of 29 and 25
games during his career.
His 41 points are the most points in a game in Mexico. His
triple-double is the first triple-double recorded in Mexico.
He became the first player in league history to collect two
40-point triple-doubles before the age of 21.
